Vincent P. Gallagher, Esq.

Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Vince was riding waves in St. Augustine before many of our judges were born. A product of Gainesville High School, Vince interrupted his surfing days long enough to graduate from the University of Florida in 1974. Following graduation, Vince owned several successful businesses and eventually traded in his surfboard for a Cessna 185 on floats and "rode the waves" as a floatplane pilot before deciding to obtain his law degree from the University of Florida in 1992.

Vince is an avid boater, having captained both sailing and motoring yachts on blue water adventures throughout the Bahamas and the southern Caribbean. He also loves cycling and has completed 100-mile courses (ok, he was breathing heavily). He can often be found at Hanna Park terrorizing the mountain bike trails. Vince is also a volunteer judge for Duval County Teen Court (http://www.ncsconline.org/wc/publications/kis_juvjus_trends02_teenpub.pdf), is a member of the Christian Legal Society, Florida Justice Association, Jacksonville Justice Association, the Catholic Lawyers Guild, and Sam's Club.
